Yay! Awesome photographer and friend of mine, Alexi Shields of Palm Beach Wedding Photography, posted pics on her blog from a recent wedding we did together. Of course, I had to sneak a pic with my sweet little St. Louis bride, Mrs. Christin Hagler. Love that girl!
The wedding was intimate and gorgeous on Jupiter Beach, FL at sunset on Saturday, March 14, 2009. The weather was perfect and everything fell into place beautifully. The bride looked stunning and the groom so handsome. They kept the meaning of the ceremony as the "theme" which I loved and didn't get too caught up in the details... they hired a great photographer (thank you, Alexi!!) and a wonderful videographer to capture their ceremony, then went off to an intimate dinner with family and friends on the water overlooking the historic Jupiter Lighthouse.
Funny drama of that day: I had to kick 3 young men DRINKING BEER out of the way of the aisle before the ceremony. That's always a drawback with a public beach wedding. Fortunately, they were happy to comply, but you always feel bad ruining someone else's party, right!? Oh well, that's the life of a wedding planner; gotta be the mean one!!! OH- and a little advice to those planning a beach wedding, either hire a planner or security to protect you in an instance like this. Otherwise, your guests or the groom becomes the bad guy, and you DON'T want that. :)
Christin and Brandon were the most laid-back couple and such a pleasure to work with. I wish them lots of LOVE and LAUGHTER in their marriage.... no doubt that will be true!
