Addie and Charlie were married at Jupiter Beach Resort on February 27th and the planning process leading up to their wedding day was such fun! Addie hired the experts (also the team that I refer to as the "A Team".... the always amazing (and most fun to work with!) Debra Weisheit to capture their day, Darines of Simply Flowers for decor and florals (simply the BEST), Betty Baird with Sweet Tiers (the most gorgeous and DELICIOUS cakes) and of course Jonathan at Jupiter Beach Resort for their amazing venue -- my all time favorite.
Let me start by saying Jonathan knows how to dodge a rain storm like no other... but what adds beautiful drama to a wedding day better than a little sprinkle of rain while exchanging vows on the beach? We dodged two big storms to have the wedding outdoors but a few sprinkles of rain caught us. Fortunately, we were prepared with white umbrellas for all...
The ceremony was beautiful, with harp music filling the air by Esther from The Elegant Harp and simple, elegant details to compliment the natural surroundings. Drama can also be understated.
Want to add drama to your ballroom setting? There are a number of ways...
For Addie and Charlie's wedding, she selected shades of deep purple for her palette and fell in love with one of Darines' designs using large gorgeous green leaves and white orchid sprays. The deep purple tablecloths topped with a gorgeous centerpiece like this will shine best with pin spotting (light stands directing beams of light to a focal point)... We also lightened the room with draping on the ceiling and behind the band. Talk about drama!!! The room looked fantastic (thank you, Darines) and was captured beautifully (thank you Debra!).
Add a gorgeous cake with your wedding flowers (and a pin spot to highlight)... and you are all set with a dramatic, well put-together wedding.
Time to celebrate....
